The Gracida Gran Reserva is deep cherry in color with violet hues. The aromas consist of red plum, cherry, herbs, cocoa, tobacco, leather and vanilla. Tempranillo is one of Spain’s greatest varietals showcased in this wine after two years in American and French oak.

Bodegas Lozano has 2,400 acres of vineyards located only 10 minutes from the winery in La Mancha. Bodegas Lozano can ensure consistency in quality each year for the Gracida wines.
Our vineyards are planted in clay and calcareous soils in a continental climate. We harvested the Tempranillo in the third week of September and Cabernet Sauvignon the following week. Fermentation lasted 10 days at a temperature of 68-77ªF and 15 days of post-fermentative maceration. The Gran Reserve wine spent at least 24 months in American and French oak barrels prior to bottling and almost the same time in bottle prior to being released.
